Combat Zone Wrestling’s Heavyweight Champion Biff Busick once again proved he is a dominate force in the world of professional wrestling. As he jumped the pond to wrestle six matches for Southside Wrestling Entertainment putting up his title and proudly retaining it.
One half of Biff and Ted’s Excellent Podcast successfully defending his CZW Heavyweight championship in 5 of the 6 matches, the 6th of which was a non-title match. He battled the likes of Martin Kirby, Stixx, El Ligro and Pete Dunne. Kirby and Ligro he wrestled twice.
According to Busick’s twitter account he listed El Ligro his toughest opponent to date. The 29 year old El Ligro who is currently the GPW British Champion, NGW Heavyweight Champion, PBW Heavyweight Champion and one half of the Infinite Promotions Tag Team Champion.
For the entire month of October the Star Destroyer Busick, has lived in Europe. Previously to this 5 day stint with SWE he was with the World Triangle League where he put on a 20 minute time limit draw match with Drew Gulak. Then went on to defeat Axel Tischer and Kazuki Hashimoto in one one one matches. Then in his final night he defeated Karsten Beck and Rich Swann in a three way match.
Busick is one of the top guys on the independent wrestling scene and continues to showcase it every weekend whether it be in Europe or somewhere in America. Proving that week in and week out with a seem of ease nearly seen by others. While Busick isn’t flashy with hand gestures or sayings. He gives pro wrestling fans something to enjoy and honor.
